As the Lincolnshire Show sets out to be bigger than ever, Sophie explains how Cartwright Communications has helped the event grow.
As the 130th Lincolnshire Show approaches, we are busy scheduling media interviews to ensure that the biggest ever show receives widespread coverage in the East Midlands and beyond across print, online, radio and TV.
Cartwright worked on the show last year and show organisers say that it is partly due to the high level of media coverage which has pushed tickets sales up this year by over 30%.
More than 60,000 people are expected to attend the show over the two days – 17 and 18 June and the show has developed from its roots in agriculture to a fun-packed day out for all the family to enjoy - and there are around 70 national and regional journalists signed up to attend.
Regional country shows are no longer just for the farming few. As the show expands to include family experiences, cooking demonstrations and fashion shows, events of this kind draw larger crowds year on year.
Cartwright will be at the forefront of the show ensuring those who are not there know exactly what they’re missing out on via local and national media. Headline attractions at this year’s show includes the RAF Falcons parachute display team and The University of Lincoln’s award-winning RHS Chelsea technology garden.
The Lincolnshire Show is one of the largest and most important regional shows in the UK and Cartwright is looking forward to being at the helm of it all, navigating journalists, bloggers and photographers across the showground.
We can’t wait to see you there! Don’t forget your sunnies as the weather is looking great!
