We were delighted to be invited to support the launch of Nottingham’s first street food club – which of course we accepted – after all organising events to remember is one of our fortes!
More than 250 people attended the night, where they enjoyed an array of delicious food and drinks, including Asian-inspired and Italian dishes, and cocktails, prosecco and local beers. Vegetarian, vegan and non-alcoholic options were also available.
Nottingham Street Food Club is a brand new independent indoor street food market at intu Victoria Centre, Nottingham. Those who went along really enjoyed the market’s launch, and if the success of the opening weekend was anything to go by, it is set to be a very popular food venue.
Max Kwan who was at the launch said: “The Nottingham Street Food Club will be a great addition to the city and we had a fantastic night at the launch. There was a real buzz, the food was good and we will definitely be back.”
Local blogger Abby Brennan said: "I think it is an absolutely brilliant idea. It is a great way to cater for small businesses that want to start up and give them a chance to show what they can do with low risk – and the food is fantastic."
The 150-seater venue features four hot food stalls and a bar, all manned by local independent traders. The market will host a range small businesses throughout the year, allowing the people of Nottingham to eat global but dine local.
People can go and enjoy the market every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12-11pm in the Upper mall at the Clocktower dining intu Victoria Centre in Nottingham.
