Our team always wants to give something positive back to the community. Over the years, Cartwright has established longstanding relationships with various charitable organisations – helping them gain maximum public exposure and build corporate partnerships with local businesses.

Nottingham School of Boxing

We have been supporting the vital work that Nottingham School of Boxing and Switch Up does for the young people in our local community since 2016.

How we help

We work in a consultancy role to support the work of Nottingham School of Boxing and Switch Up as well as providing personal advice to founder Marcellus Baz BEM as he looks to raise his own profile as a leading voice on important social and economic issues. This work includes everything from completing tenders for funding and creating a suite of marketing templates, to producing video content and supporting with award entries and stakeholder engagement.

Juno

This year, we have adopted an official charity to focus our fundraising efforts on – Women’s Aid. Juno Women’s Aid. The foundation empower women, children and teenagers who have been affected by domestic abuse and help them to live lives free from violence and fear. They work in Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City and Rushcliffe. We support the vital work that Juno Women’s Aid provide in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire through our pro bono services, fundraising efforts and sustained campaigns.

TV Workshop

The renowned talent organisation – which has made stars of Samantha Morton, Jack O’Connell, Karl Collins, Bella Ramsey and Alison Hammond – is celebrating its 40th year, and will be supported by as our Charity of the Year.

The Workshop had recent success with the release of highly praised ITVX drama Without Sin, which was not only filmed in Nottingham but featured a cast of current and former members led by acclaimed actress Vicky McClure – one of the Workshop’s most famous alumni.  

From media liaison to content creation and events, we will be helping to spread the word about the Workshop, kicking off with its ‘40 years, 40 stars, 40 awards’ campaign to mark the milestone anniversary.
