MIPIM 2019: A first-timers guide

MIPIM first-timer, Tom Snee looks into the property and construction industry’s annual showpiece and finds out what you need to know before you go.

As soon as January hits, all roads lead to Cannes.

We’ve been attending MIPIM as a company for seven years now, but for me, MIPIM 2019 will be the first time at the industry’s big show.

Like the hundreds of other first-timers, I have asked a million and one questions about the event to those who have been before, covering everything from how many business cards to take to whether the Wi-Fi is up to scratch.

With that in mind, I sat down with Annie Brafield – one of the account directors here at Cartwright Communications and a MIPIM veteran – to get her top tips for first-time attendees.
