Food & Drink

Our work in the food and drinks sector speaks for itself. Whether we’re helping to launch a new bar or restaurant, pushing new products in front of wholesalers or improving brand awareness, we’re experts in creating a healthy appetite for your business.
By staying on top of the industry’s latest trends, we’re able to create relevant and innovative content that can place your brand in front of those that matter most and – in some cases – even go viral. Our detailed PR, marketing and digital communications strategies are tailored to each business’ individual needs so we can help to formulate a bespoke recipe for your success.

Whether you want reservations at your restaurant or guests at your bar, our team of super-organised event planners can help to ease the stress of your launch so you can enjoy the opening night.

With an impressive guest list under our belt, we make sure that you get the right people attending your VIP launch and that the event goes off without a hitch. From helping to design and issue invitations and working the door on the day, to sourcing external suppliers and managing media relations – we have all the skills you need to make the best first impression on the hospitality scene.

As well as filling reservation books, we get brands talked about where it matters the most; whether that’s in a trade title, a regional business magazine, a glossy consumer mag, or online through content marketing, video and social media.

We’ve worked with major food and drink brands to raise their profile in specific trade titles, as well as leading consumer-facing campaigns – including video development, blogger liaison, social media content strategy and optimised website copy, such as inspiring blogs that support SEO.

We can also help to develop tone of voice documents for emerging and established food and drink brands, and build successful websites to launch products and services.

In an ideal world, there would never be any controversy surrounding your brand. But unfortunately, this isn’t always the case. Should a crisis occur, we can be on hand 24/7 to offer consultancy services and help to manage difficult media enquires that – if handled badly – could damage your reputation as a business.

One of our favourite campaigns was the launch of the 2018 summer menu. A branded e-recipe book, Chez Vouz, was created featuring a selection of Bistrot Pierre’s newly-launched dishes and summer cocktails for customers to try at home.

This campaign was ideal for us as it required minimal input from our team at this busy period and it really helped to raise the profile of potatoes by promoting healthy debate across the country.

I have worked with Cartwright for more than ten years and the team are always helpful and responsive. The recent website update was just what we were looking for and the help, guidance and ideas offered made the process straightforward and effective. They have achieved one of our main objectives by putting us on the first page of Google. I can happily recommend the team at Cartwright.

We initially engaged Cartwright to support with the messaging around our purchase of The Lawn as we were carrying out some controversial renovations of the Grade II listed building. Our hope was that the Cartwright team would be able to help us deliver a positive message to a wide audience – they achieved this goal and so much more.

What started out as a three-month engagement, lasted for more than two years as we quickly realised the value of having a company so well connected on our side, promoting the Stokes brand. Their approach was friendly, professional and added a great deal of value to the business.

The media coverage was amazing and I want more of it for all our sites in the future and none of the PR companies we have used in the past has ever given me an evaluation report. I can’t wait to show it to the board.
