Background

We provided Godwin Developments – a nationwide multi-sector property development company – with strategic PR and stakeholder engagement services to raise the profile of the organisation, its transformational schemes and the positive impact they would have on their local areas.

Approach

We optimised a ‘top tier publication’ first attitude to position Godwin positively in the correct media outlets for each individual story. Communicating key development milestones from site acquisitions and planning stages through to physical development of sites, we took a strategic approach to messaging to ensure that key audiences received the targeted, positive communications around schemes.

The brand’s overall profile was raised in front of its target markets, securing regular exclusives with top tier publications including Property Week and resulting in the developer receiving numerous enquiries from investors for major schemes.

As a result of our strategic approach to comms messaging and ongoing stakeholder engagement, the perception of Derby’s ‘The Landmark’ development in the media and with key movers and shakers in the area was changed, which ultimately resulted in a positive outcome for the planning application.
