We are very proud to be one of PR Week’s top agencies in the UK, with CC HQ based out of the Midlands. What began with roots in journalism for national publications, has evolved into a full spectrum of services for some of the biggest brands in the UK across a range of sectors.

Our team is a big family of Cartwrighters, each with bags of personality and a unique contribution to bring to the table.

  • Liz Cartwright, managing director.

    Ex-journalist and ex-editor, Liz founded Cartwright Comms 15 years ago. Tom Hardy lover. A proud ‘yellowbelly’, Liz  captains the Cartwright ship to secure the very best results for our clients. Board member of ProCon Nottinghamshire & committee member for numerous charities.

  • Annie  Brafield, director.

    One of Cartwright’s property and construction gurus loves raising the profile of industry leaders and maximising hot topics for thought-leadership.  A networking queen who is very at home with a porn star martini.

  •  Rose Hayes, director.

    Experienced & hard-working. Multi-tasker extraordinaire, digital guru and building products queen, Rose is also Cartwright’s mental health first-aider, third-sector supporter and down-right amazing operator.

  • Helen Ansell, marketing director.

    Branding genius and self-confessed shopaholic. If she’s not fine-tuning stellar strategies for our clients, you can find  her  looking for the latest eateries to try, dreaming of sunnier climes or ordering a much loved Pret.

  • Amelia Walker, account director

    Analytical and enthusiastic, Amelia is a B2B PR superstar with a keen eye for a good news story. Amelia’s try anything once philosophy and can-do attitude means she’s not afraid to get stuck in and pitch new ideas. Outside of work, Amelia enjoys looking after her beloved cat Pearl and finding new afternoon tea spots to enjoy.

    Former journalist and content creation captain. Tom’s combination of excellent PR and video skills make him a real all-rounder, and he’s not too bad at sport either.

  • Charlotte Dove, account director.

    The epitome of organised with an enviable collection of pastel-hued stationery. She exudes sophistication and style, and can often be spotted charming her contacts at networking events across the UK.

  • Katie Nelson, a. 

    Our favourite Mancunian, Katie is like a dog with a bone when it comes to getting national coverage. A woman who could have invented Trello, she’s so organised. She’s a PR  supremo – and a gin fanatic.

  • Scott Giles, account manager

    An experienced pair of hands, Scott is well versed in crafting and managing an array of B2B and B2C content, usually with a penchant for puns and alliteration in any headline title. When he’s not putting pen to paper, you can usually find him playing an array of retro hits, films or more than likely, Heart 80s.

  • Jo Kendall, senior account manager

    Creative campaigns are in her veins. Jo’s strategic direction captivates the attention of national and broadcast consumer media all around. A dab hand with a camera and an artist at heart, her imaginative and flexible expertise have moulded Jo into a multi-marketer with digital analytics at the core of everything.

    Lucy is a PR professional who loves a list. When she’s not writing press releases or scheduling social media posts, she can usually be found watching motorsport, either on the TV or trackside.

  • Victoria Greenhall, marketing executive

    With a background in multi-channel e-commerce, organic social media and events management, Victoria is a branding whizz.

    When she’s not hard at work developing new marketing strategies, she can be found dining out with friends or binging the latest Netflix series.

  • Kali Dennett, senior account executive

    Armed with a background in digital and marketing, Kali brings a flair for creativity to her accounts. Always eager to get stuck in, when she’s not drafting punchy press releases or fine-tuning a social schedule she can be found ticking the next ridiculous item off of her bucket list.

  • Claire Catlow, PR consultant

    Fresh from a highly successful journalism career, Claire has the skills to get under the skin of clients and tell the stories that matter. Drag her away from crafting content and you’ll probably find her on a riverside dog walk.

  • Phoebe Ram, content specialist

    A former journalist, her passion for storytelling brings content to life. Addicted to coffee and fresh air, when she’s not typing up a feature, she’s exploring a new city or on an outdoor adventure.

  • Manuela Holmes, office manager.

    Super organised and a total machine with a financial plan. She’s the mistress of invoicing and paying the bills – and overseer of timesheets and  expenses claims. Perhaps most importantly she buys all the booze for our Friday afternoon wine time.

  • Matt Santos, senior account executive.

    A fine content creator and conscientious operator. Establishing meaningful rapport comes second nature to Matt and great initiative means unique media opportunities are always on his radar. He’s probably dreaming of his next round of golf as you’re reading this.

  • Peter Mumford, senior account executive.

    The man of a thousand edits, Pete is a video demon and more than handy when it comes to the written word. An avid runner, he’d be the first pick at a Cartwright Sports Day.

  • Emily Dallison, account executive.

    A charming and witty content creator with a passion for people, writing and current events. She oozes confidence which makes her sell-ins a breeze. When she’s not busy drafting killer content, she can be found online shopping; possibly to add to her outrageous pyjama collection.

  • Becky Preston, account executive

    Becky is a recent PR graduate who is committed to trying all things PR. When she’s not writing blogs or creating social media content, she can either be found running to the gym or running to the nearest bar.

  • Georgia Cowdrey, PR apprentice.

    Enthusiastic and willing to learn, Georgia enjoys planning and organising events. When she is not getting up to speed with the latest PR news she is out partying with friends.

  • Addie Kenogbon, Account Director

    Consumer PR, events and influencer marketing pro with a penchant for charming clients and journalists with her northern drawl. A lover of writing and sustainable fashion, when she’s not helping clients devise innovative PR strategies and creative campaigns, she can be found writing all things fashion as LeftLion Magazine’s fashion editor or running her own sustainable fashion blog.

  • Samantha Hess, social media account manager

    With reach, impressions, and click-through rates a second language, Sam is a paid and organic social media strategist with a keen eye for branding and design. If she’s not busy investigating the latest social media trends or putting together a captivating content plan, she can be found seeking out the trendiest wine bars, pursuing her interest in gardening or spending time with her horse, Romeo.

    A proactive PR pro, Hannah has a natural instinct for communicating the story at the heart of your brand. 

    A keen runner, traveller and festival fan, Hannah can rarely be found without a beer in hand. 


  • Dominic Smith, junior account executive

    Dominic is not as stupid as he looks and looks half as stupid as he deserves.

    Often described in the office as the rising star of Cartwright, and wind beneath everyone’s wings, he is a connoisseur of metaphors and an artist with similes, and sock savant.

    Our experienced digital consultant delivers all round digital knowledge to increase clients conversions. After years in the game, he can help get you the best bang for your buck!

  • Shreya Suresh, junior account executive.

    A lover of words, scribbles or anything that has to do with a creative thought.  When she is not creating content, you can find her adding items to her shopping cart or looking for books to add to her collection.
