Acting as Bistrot Pierre’s national PR agency, we were tasked with managing the launch of its 15th restaurant in the heart of Birmingham, for which we created a campaign to capture the imagination of the city’s predominantly younger population.
Two teaser videos were managed, produced and released in the run up to the launch, producing 90,000 views across Facebook and YouTube. We also engaged with the city’s best Instagram influencers through an ‘IGers’ partnerships, showcasing the restaurant and its top-quality offering across the social platform, before organizing and managing a VIP launch event.
A consistent level of press coverage was maintained in the run up to the opening, including a ‘sneak peek’ with the Birmingham Mail. Meanwhile, momentum was maintained through sourcing influential bloggers for a series of ongoing review visits post-launch.
As well as managing the launch event, attended by 150 of Birmingham’s VIPs and seeing #BonjourBirmingham trend on Twitter locally on the night. Key media and influencers were engaged to maintain momentum post-launch through a programme of press visits to the new restaurant, providing positive coverage and UGC for Bistrot Pierre’s social team to utilise moving forwards.
