Bustler Nottingham is a new street food venue nestled in the heart of Nottingham’s up-and-coming Sneinton area. Its launch marked Nottingham’s first standalone permanent street food venue and the team’s second location following the success of its Derby venue.
The Cartwright team was tasked with launching Bustler Nottingham with a bang and creating a buzz ahead of its Nottingham arrival.
Using our wealth of hospitality expertise, we activated a tried and tested launch strategy that harnessed both regional press and key influencers.
Ahead of the launch, the team worked on a series of press releases aimed at local press and organised a ‘first look’ with Nottinghamshire Live, providing sneak peeks of the new space to ramp up the excitement.
Meanwhile, the Cartwright team drafted and sent out invitation mailers to a carefully curated list of attendees. An online ticketing system was also set up to help streamline guest list management and allow for data capture.
Our hugely successful launch event – with eye-catching entertainment – was packed with key influencers, media, local businesses and Nottingham VIPs.
During the evening the team provided in-person support, welcoming guests at the door, using the digital ticket system, supporting the photographers and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Amassing 28 pieces of coverage, a coverage reach of more than 27 million, an approximate total social reach of 557,000 and hundreds of Instagram stories and posts, Bustler Nottingham’s launch proved to be a huge success.
The event was well attended, despite the challenges posed by hosting an event post-pandemic. However, the greatest success lies in the lasting brand advocates that have been secured, who continue to talk about and visit Bustler long after the launch.
