We were approached by the team at Construct.id to support the launch of its new brand. Construct.id provides a single destination for contractors and those throughout the construction supply chain to access universal ID verification and credentials for effective onboarding.
We facilitated an interactive workshop to get under the skin of what the core proposition was, who it was targeting and how it would be perceived by the market.
We also built the foundations of the brand identity and ethos so that both internal and external stakeholders would buy into the brand from its very inception. From a visual perspective, we provided consultancy and brand development ideas to refine and refresh the initial identity.
INITIAL BRAND AUDIT
The original logo looked dated due to the use of a gradient colour scheme. Modern logos tend to adopt striking, bold colourways and uncomplicated designs. The logo marque needed to be eye-catching and clearly visible within an app setting. We also felt that the brand marque and name needed better connectivity within the design.
We created abstract styles with strong contrasting colourways that played on the sense of community and identity themes that were central to the app offering. We then showed how the identity and logo could be translated across various
touchpoints including the app, merchandise, social posts and website landing page, using aspects of the logo marque. The resulting brand identity is impactful, memorable and aligned with the construction industry’s bolder style.
