Electric England advocates for the safe transition to greener personal transport methods such as electric scooters and bikes in the UK, leveraging the models that other European cities have successfully implemented in recent years.
We were tasked with creating a brand identity for Electric England that positioned them both as a high-end, pioneering body that will pave the way for legalisation relating to the safe use of electric scooters and bikes in the UK and, at the same time, appeal to younger audiences when promoting their educational programmes and riding academies.
Following a brand workshop, we produced a number of concepts that centred on the use of the initials ‘EE’. We experimented with brand marques that used a lower and upper case ‘e’ to create a scooter graphic, a mirroring device, interlocking initials, a badge style and a marque utilising negative space.
We also worked with the team to solidify what they wanted to achieve as an organisation over the next five years. From this insight we developed a communications guide with strapline options, key messages, tone of voice, vision, mission and values.
HOW WE DID IT
Defining brand direction
Working closely with the Electric England team, we created a visual brand identity, brand messaging playbook and also provided a wireframe and content for a new landing page, email signatures and graphics.
