National property and investment company Godwin Developments tasked Cartwright to lead a 12-month strategy to support its business objectives. Our comprehensive plan included four key communications campaigns to create expansive media coverage to raise the organisation’s profile to target audiences. We were also briefed to support Godwin with its planning applications for major developments using our stakeholder engagement expertise.
We created great results from day one by winning top-notch media coverage in Estates Gazette, Retail Week and Property Week, along with other national trade publications. We wrote press releases, features and thought leadership articles ad arranged interviews for Godwin directors with trade titles and business journalists. We also supported several Godwin planning applications through seeking support from key people.
As well as fantastic media coverage generating impressive reach, we were pleased with the positive planning decisions generated from stakeholder engagement. In particular, with The Landmark in Derby, a controversial high rise build–to–rent scheme which had been rejected by the local council’s planning committee. Our hard-hitting media campaign and stakeholder engagement assisted in the scheme being approved at committee.
