We were employed by Gusto to use our local foodie expertise to promote the arrival of the brand’s first East Midlands restaurant in West Bridgford, creating a buzz up to and beyond the opening night.
A strategy was built to target press, encourage bookings and newsletter sign ups, and engage VIPs. To support staff training and ensure top quality service provision for the VIP launch, we also sourced people to fill five full soft launch sittings.
Target pre-launch messaging promoted the opening across local, consumer and business press, including first look photography with key regional titles the Nottingham Post and West Bridgford Wire. Meanwhile, we managed the entire VIP launch event from planning and guest list through to on-the-night support.
Our campaign approach generated targeted media coverage, while also engaging with bloggers and food reviewers to share insights on the restaurant beyond “it’s opening” messaging – focusing on quality food and service to elevate Gusto’s stellar reputation.
Meanwhile, the VIP event was a roaring success, with more than 500 people attending – and Gusto’s pre-bookings exceeding all expectations post-launch.
