Naismiths is a leading national real estate consultancy with offices in eight cities. Founded in 1963, its 50-strong team has built on its proven track record of partnership with the industry through a focused offering of three complementary service streams – project monitoring, building consultancy, and restructuring and advisory.
To increase visibility for its services in specific locations, drive site traffic to its new website and ultimately improve the number of enquiries, we focused on drafting new blogs and creating new service-related landing pages for its top locations. We also implemented technical fixes to help increase the website health.
When the new website launched in July 2023, we improved the overall site health by implementing redirects and updating the meta data site-wide. We conducted extensive keyword research to underpin our digital strategy.
We produced optimised blogs around sector keywords, answering as many related queries and long-tail keyword phrases as possible to improve rankings such as ‘Why is project monitoring important?’. We also optimised existing pages by adding additional service information and frequently asked questions.
We improved local search engine optimisation (SEO) by optimising Naismiths’ Google My Business profiles for each location. We increased impressions by adding related news and the Naismiths logo and updating missing details.
We’ve now seen 70% of traffic coming from organic search, compared to 61% in August 2023. Active users on the site are up 24%, along with sessions, which are up 16%. The domain authority has rapidly increased to 33, compared to 17 in July 2023.
More than half of Naismiths’ service-based location keywords are now ranking in Google. These include ‘independent business review London, ‘construction consultant Manchester’, ‘building surveyors Manchester’ and ‘project management consultants Birmingham’.
