National Care Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of adult social care and support services to individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury, and associated complex needs. The business’ priorities were to raise awareness of bed spaces in key regional areas, drive recruitment and position the executive team as leaders in their fields.    


We operated as a press office for our client by focusing on people-centric stories to increase regional knowledge of services under the National Care Group umbrella.  

Business growth stories including acquisitions, team expansion/ promotions, and thought leadership features on key sector issues also formed part of our approach that improved awareness of the business as a potential employer and the executive team as authoritative industry voices.  


We have achieved consistent coverage in regional, trade and national press. As part of this we have secured national coverage in The Sun newspaper, on BBC News and trade features in Care Talk and LaingBuisson.  

From April 2022 to March 2023, we increased reach from four million to 323 million, with the number of pieces of coverage from 105 to 139 and pieces of content drafted up from 33 to 47.  

One of our key campaigns focused on menopause in the workplace and led to an exclusive double page spread in Care Talk print, coverage in The Sun’s top menopause employers list, two reactive comments and trade press coverage.
