We were engaged by Lichfield-based Police Mutual – a mutual organisation supporting members of the police service and their families with savings, investments, insurance, healthcare and mortgage advice – to highlight its acquisition of Forces Financial, provider of financial products to the military and UK police. As well as external PR, this project involved high-level planning and managing a programme of internal communications to answer potential concerns and FAQs from employees at both companies surrounding the acquisition and what it would mean for them.


To capture a range of audiences, we used a mix of regional, business and financial trade press for the acquisition announcement, ensuring the coverage delivered a number of key messages. The objectives of the internal communications programme were to ensure employees were kept in the loop and that they understood what the deal meant for them and the new combined business they would be working for.


We secured great media coverage, communicating the strength of the new, combined business.
