BACKGROUND

We supported global wireless solutions provider Ramtech to reach one of its key target audiences of US construction site professionals, contractors and new-build or refurbishment building owners. 

Our work needed to raise awareness of the risks associated with outdated methods of fire detection in the US when working on construction sites, and the solutions presented by modern wireless fire detection / life safety solutions. 

APPROACH

To showcase Ramtech’s in-depth knowledge of the fire risks and life safety considerations, legislation and detection options open to the sector, we created an authoritative white paper: ‘No Site Left Behind: The Modern Fire and Life Safety Solutions for Construction’. 

We focused on utilising in-depth interviews with Ramtech’s own stakeholders, US suppliers and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) affiliates. We also included a high profile customer case study, showcasing the innovations used in action by Turner Construction. 

Cartwright advised on a distribution strategy to earn high value fire safety and construction trade press coverage. This was in addition to landing page content and a social media targeting strategy to push prospects to leave their data to download the white paper. 

RESULTS

The white paper was downloaded 57 times from behind a data capture wall and landed several pieces of coverage in key US-based titles, including Forconstructionpros.com, which has a high monthly audience reach of 295k users. 

The educational document also led to two further features in Construction Executive – a US trade publication – and International Fire and Safety Journal.  

Ramtech went on to use the white paper to support its discussions at the NFPA Show in Boston.
