IN PICTURES: Behind the scenes at the Lincolnshire Show 2018 media centre

Here’s a behind the scenes look at how the Cartwright team managed the media centre at one of the Lincolnshire Showground’s biggest shows to date

Our day

With 60,000 visitors and more than 100 members of the local and national media expected to attend this year’s Lincolnshire Show, the media centre was set to be a busy space, buzzing with special guests, journalists and photographers across the two-day event.

7.30 am

Getting the media centre ready for the check-in takes some serious doing!

Over 100 press goodie bags and press packs were prepped ready for our guests as well as a comprehensive list of media opportunities, key contacts and agendas for each day… and complimentary tea, coffee and bacon cobs, of course.

8 am

Journalists and photographers were showing up thick and fast to sign in, collect their press badge and set up last minute interviews for the day.

Throughout the day

The team welcomed press and photographers back to the media centre throughout the day, where VIPs and key individuals were scheduled in for mass media interviews.

The team also acted as the first port of call for media for programme updates and information.

The media centre closes… ready for a repeat performance on day two of the event.
