Cartwright Communications was appointed by Roythornes Solicitors to ensure the firm’s activities and achievements delivered a strong and consistent media presence nationally and regionally as well as within specifically targeted trade publications.

Approach

We devised a proactive media relations and PR plan aimed at increasing awareness of Roythornes nationally and within the localities of its regional offices, and to build the reputation of each of its specialist departments within relevant trade publications.

Our campaign continues to focus on establishing Roythornes as the experts in its areas of specialism, highlighting the firm as a great place to work with traditional values but a modern approach and increasing new business opportunities for all departments.

We work closely with key Roythornes staff from each department and attend the firm’s events to enable us to maximise PR opportunities and leverage their expertise to produce feature-length articles for placement in trade media titles. We also ‘newsjack’ relevant national news stories to provide opportunities for expert comment on key issues.

We also support the team at MIPIM, the world’s largest property expo held every year in Cannes, to arrange meetings and facilitate key networking opportunities for the property team.

Results

In a 12-month period we achieved just under 300 pieces of media coverage across key regional and trade media titles such as Estates Gazette, Lawyer Monthly and Farm Business as well as national press including Daily Mail, The Time, and City AM. This activity reached 12.4 million people and helped Roythornes to secure new clients as a direct result.
